Great place with a twist of fun. You cook your own steak, which is like a place i once loved in Sonora, CA. Sirloin was delicious, potato (and fixins) was huge and i cooked asparagus perfectly. Sides were large enough to share so you dont need to order double. We both enjoyed a cocktail each, me an old fashion and her a lemon drop. The old fashion was great, lemon drop ok. Then the mgr. delivered the slice of carrot cake "on the house" bcuz it was much smaller than it was suppose to be. The evening was different and enjoyable, food was tasty and affordable, service was awesome! For me, it could add just a bit more light and i realy wanted to listen to the lil 2 piece band that was slowly setting up. Next time.

After scouting the upper Sac for prospective salmon holes, and finding about 6 of them, we came back into Sactown and looked for a place to eat. Blaster Hobbins and Hobokin Joe wanted pizza, and I told them if we go for steak I'd pay...as long as it's at The Butterscotch Den! I got the Ribeye Steak and asked for it extra rare.. Two minutes on each side I said, and it came back perfectly cooked, very rare and more tender than your first girlfriend. The Butterscotch Den...5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s!

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was really good. I seasoned up my steaks seasoned up. My broccolini threw it on the grill and when I tell you those steaks, the best was like velvet. I also had the chocolate martini. My husband had the old-fashioned and he had the IPA beer. He also had the little after dental shot. He said it was OK. I had the peanut butter chocolate cake with ice cream. It was awesome. Just hands down 10 stars. I don’t know how you can get, but it was awesome. It was expensive. Tried a lot of stuff, but they’re the most part so awesome I will say again can’t wait.

This place is a pure gem. Service is very friendly, drinks are amazing, especially their holiday season cocktails. Food? Can’t complain about that, I’ve cooked it on the grill in the center of the dining room, right next to live music while sipping on the cocktail. Great vibe 10/10. Also celebrated my birthday there. My favorite spot now.

Such a fun and unique spot! The vibes here are amazing warm lighting, chill atmosphere, and live music that really brings it all together. Drinks were awesome, great selection of digestifs too, and I love the concept of cooking your own burger or steak right on the grill, different experience. The pretzels from the secret menu were also awesome! Huge shoutout to Jordan, our host, for the great energy and for recommending the “princess shot,” we’ll definitely be trying that next time! If we ever come again, I will bring the homemade amaro. Perfect place for a relaxed night out with friends or date night. Highly recommend!
